Description
The Evolis QTM2-KTELY adds Elyctis contactless chip encoding to an Evolis Quantum 2 card printer. The Quantum's encoding module is reversible and independent from the print module, which lets cards be encoded and printed in a single pass. With this kit fitted, one Quantum 2 writes the contactless chip and prints the card in the same run, so the job does not have to move to a separate desktop encoder and a second handling step.
This is the field-upgradable form of the encoder, added to a Quantum 2 that is already in service; the QTM2-OPELY is the same encoder supplied as a factory-installed module. Pick the Elyctis contactless encoder when the credentials you issue carry a contactless chip only. Contact chip, dual and magnetic stripe encoding are separate options on the Quantum 2.
