About this card

The HID ProxKey III 1346 is a 125 kHz HID Prox credential in a keyfob. It clips to a keyring instead of a badge holder, which suits maintenance staff, drivers, and anyone who does not wear a lanyard. The fob is black with a grey insert and standard HID artwork. Each fob is programmed to order to match your readers.

Choose the ProxKey III when a card is not practical. It reads at the same HID Prox doors as your cards, so you can mix fobs and cards on one system. To order, give us the same three things you would for a card: your format, your facility code, and the starting number. They are on the box your last credentials came in. If you are adding fobs to an existing site, use the exact format and facility code already in use so the new fobs work on day one.

Frequently asked questions

What do I need to provide to order programmed cards?
Three things: your card format (for example Standard 26-bit H10301), your facility or site code, and the starting card number. They are printed on the box your current cards came in, or on your original HID paperwork. We encode every card in the run in sequence from your start number.
What if I do not know my format or facility code?
Send us two or three of your existing cards and we will read them and match the encoding. You can also check the box or paperwork from your last order, where the format and facility code are usually listed.
What is the difference between programmed and unprogrammed cards?
Programmed cards are encoded by us to match your readers and work out of the box. Unprogrammed cards ship blank for you to encode in house with an iCLASS SE encoder, so choose unprogrammed only if you program your own credentials.
What is the minimum order and how are quantities counted?
The minimum is 100 cards in increments of 100. Custom printed artwork raises the minimum to 500. Every run is made to order and encoded to your exact specification.
Can I print a photo or logo on these cards?
The printable PVC models, the ISOProx II 1386 and DuoProx II 1336, have a smooth surface for direct to card printing. Clamshell cards, keyfobs, and tags are not printable.
Which formats and readers do you support?
These work with HID Prox 125 kHz readers for door access and time and attendance. We support open formats such as 26-bit H10301 and managed formats such as HID Corporate 1000. Managed and OEM formats require authorization, which we verify with HID before production.
