The HID FARGO Connect Enabled DTC1500, part number 078028 (also listed as 78028), is the dual-sided model with an integrated OMNIKEY 5127 encoder (13.56 MHz iCLASS, MIFARE, and DESFire contactless plus 125 kHz HID Prox) built for HID's FARGO Connect cloud card-issuance platform. Instead of installing printer drivers on individual workstations, card offices design templates, capture data, and issue cards from any supported device through FARGO Connect's secure cloud or on-premises platform - with real-time printer visibility, consumables monitoring, and remote issuance to distributed locations.
The hardware is the proven DTC1500 direct-to-card engine: 300 dpi dye-sublimation color with resin thermal transfer, USB 2.0 and Ethernet with an internal print server, high-yield 700-print YMCKO ribbons, AES-256 encryption with resin scramble data protection, and the DTC1500's built-in custom watermark security feature.
Please note: FARGO Connect Enabled printers operate through the HID FARGO Connect platform, which requires a FARGO Connect Console and an annual FARGO Connect subscription, sold separately.
