The HID FARGO Connect Enabled DTC4500e, part number 078003 (also listed as 78003), is the dual-sided DTC4500e built for HID's FARGO Connect cloud card-issuance platform. Instead of installing printer drivers on individual workstations, card offices design templates, capture data, and issue cards from any supported device through FARGO Connect's secure cloud or on-premises platform - with real-time printer visibility, consumables monitoring, and remote issuance to distributed locations.
The hardware is the same high-volume DTC4500e engine: 300 dpi dye-sublimation color with resin thermal transfer, about 16 seconds per full-color card, a 200-card dual input hopper, SmartScreen display, and standard AES-256 encryption with resin scramble data protection. USB 2.0 and Ethernet with an internal print server are standard.
