Description
The HID FARGO Connect Enabled HDP5000e, part number 078108 (also listed as 78108), is the dual-sided model with a dual-side lamination module, an ISO magnetic stripe encoder (tracks 1, 2, and 3), and an integrated OMNIKEY 5127 encoder (13.56 MHz iCLASS, MIFARE, and DESFire contactless plus 125 kHz HID Prox) built for HID's FARGO Connect cloud card-issuance platform. Instead of installing printer drivers on individual workstations, card offices design templates, capture data, and issue cards from any supported device through FARGO Connect's secure cloud or on-premises platform - with real-time printer visibility, consumables monitoring, and remote issuance to distributed locations.
The hardware is the proven HDP5000e retransfer engine: high-definition 600 dpi printing onto HDP film that is fused to the card for true over-the-edge coverage on technology cards, with USB 2.0 and Ethernet standard and AES-256 encryption with resin scramble data protection guarding cardholder data.
