Description
The HID Fargo 82655 (HID part number 082655) is a PolyGuard 1.0 mil clear overlaminate with a left-side cutout designed for cards with large smart chip contacts. Compatible with the HID Fargo DTC1500, DTC4500e, DTC4500, HDP5000, HDP5000e, and HDP8500 printers. For use with lamination cartridge 1 or 2. Each overlay delivers 250 prints per roll.
This overlay protects the printed card surface while leaving the smart chip contact area uncovered. Cards with embedded smart chips need exposed contacts for readers to communicate with the chip. The cutout ensures full chip functionality after lamination.
