Printer compatibility: This ribbon is made for the Evolis Avansia and Avansia CLM retransfer ID card printers only.
The Evolis RT5F013NAA is the genuine HighTrust® YMCKH color ribbon for the Avansia. Each roll prints 400 cards. A clear retransfer film (RTCL009NAA, sold separately) is required to print.
YMCKH means five panels per card: Yellow, Magenta, Cyan, resin Black, and an H panel formulated for hard polycarbonate, PET, and ABS substrates. This ribbon is engineered for polycarbonate (PC), PET-F, PET-G, and ABS cards that require different ink adhesion than standard PVC.
Use this ribbon when printing on polycarbonate, PET-F, PET-G, or ABS cards. For standard PVC cards, use the RT4F010AAA YMCK ribbon instead.
Each Avansia ribbon ships with an Evolis electronic key that must be installed before the ribbon is loaded. Without the key installed, the Avansia will not print.
All Evolis ribbons carry the HighTrust® designation. Evolis states that exclusive use of HighTrust® ribbons is a warranty condition. Using non-HighTrust® material may void your Avansia warranty.
