Printer compatibility: This ribbon is made for the Evolis Avansia and Avansia CLM retransfer ID card printers only.
The Evolis RT5F014NAA is the genuine HighTrust® YMCFK color ribbon for the Avansia. Each roll prints 400 cards. A clear retransfer film (RTCL009NAA, sold separately) is required to print.
YMCFK means five panels per card: Yellow, Magenta, Cyan, a UV-Fluorescent panel (F = UV ink, per Evolis), and resin Black. The UV panel adds covert security markings that are invisible under normal light and visible only under ultraviolet illumination.
Used for government IDs, access cards, and secure credentials where covert UV authentication is required.
Each Avansia ribbon ships with an Evolis electronic key that must be installed before the ribbon is loaded. Without the key installed, the Avansia will not print.
All Evolis ribbons carry the HighTrust® designation. Evolis states that exclusive use of HighTrust® ribbons is a warranty condition. Using non-HighTrust® material may void your Avansia warranty.
