The HID FARGO DTC1250e is a direct-to-card ID card printer built for small businesses, schools, and local governments that need professional, full-color credentials on a budget. This is the dual-sided base model, part number 050100 (also listed as 50100), with a USB connection: it automatically prints both the front and back of a card, ideal for adding barcodes, data, or instructions to the reverse. HID calls the DTC1250e the fastest printer in its class, producing a full-color card in about 16 seconds (around 225 cards per hour) and a dual-sided card in 24 seconds.

It prints at 300 dpi, combining dye-sublimation for photo-quality color with resin thermal transfer for sharp black text and barcodes.
