Description
The 2120-9001 is a non-ferrous, metal-free retractable badge reel with a 360-degree swivel clamp clip on the back and a no-twist ID holder clip on the front cord end. Non-ferrous construction means no magnetic or metallic components -- the reel is safe for use in MRI rooms, imaging suites, and any environment where metal accessories are prohibited or must pass through metal detectors. The cord extends approximately 24" (610mm) and retracts automatically.
The swivel clamp attaches to shirt collars, pockets, scrub waistbands, or any clothing edge. A small slot loop at the top of the reel allows attachment to a lanyard clip or thin carabiner as an alternative to the clip. The front face is a smooth 3/4" (19mm) circle. Reel diameter is 1-1/4" (32mm).
Used by MRI technologists, radiology nurses, and imaging room staff who need a retractable badge reel that is safe to bring into the scan room. Also used in security checkpoints and government facilities where all accessories must be metal-free or metal detector friendly. The no-twist cord end keeps credentials and access cards facing forward throughout the day.
