Description
The 6920-2360 is a metal swivel lobster claw clasp with a 3/4" D-ring. The D-ring is the lanyard end: lanyard cord, webbing, or ribbon threads through it and is sewn, knotted, or crimped in place. The lobster claw is the badge end: it clips onto any badge holder, ID card slot, key ring, or split ring. The 360-degree swivel between the two prevents the lanyard from twisting and keeps the badge facing forward throughout the day.
This is the standard end fitting used in custom and DIY lanyard making. It is also the finishing hardware for embroidered and vinyl keytags: the clasp attaches the finished keytag to a key ring, bag loop, carabiner, or lanyard ring. Custom keytag and badge reel makers use it as the final attachment step for each piece they sell. The 3/4" D-ring width accepts standard lanyard webbing and ribbon. The spring-loaded lobster claw opens with a press of the gate tab and snaps shut automatically. The swivel connector allows full rotation so the lanyard and badge move independently without tangling. Approximately 1.5" total length. Sold individually (6920-2360).
