About this card
A MIFARE credential you wear. The SPIDProx U-Band MIFARE Classic 1K puts a 13.56 MHz smart chip in a silicone wristband, so it does everything a MIFARE card does — unlocks doors, pays at the café register, clocks in and out — while staying on the wrist. It is a natural fit anywhere pockets are a problem: pools and water parks, gyms and locker rooms, summer camps, festivals, and hospital or campus environments.
How it is read. Each band carries a MIFARE Classic 1K chip with its own factory-set 4 byte UID. Systems that read a card by its UID enroll these bands the same way they enroll a card — no encoding step, no facility code, no bit format to match.
Sizes and colors: three wrist circumferences — 6 in small, 7 in medium, 8 in large — in twenty colors: aqua, black, blue, cranberry, day glow green, forest green, gold, grape, gray, hot pink, kelly green, khaki, lavender, light blue, light pink, orange, red, teal, white and yellow.
Specifications: MIFARE Classic 1K, ISO 14443A, 1024 byte EEPROM organized as 16 sectors of 4 blocks, 4 byte UID, 10 year data retention, 100,000 write cycles. Silicone band, waterproof and sweatproof. Sold in packs of 100 with a 100 piece minimum.
