Entrust part 507377-001 is a pack of five isopropanol-saturated cleaning swabs for Entrust card printers. They are alcohol cleaning swabs that clean dust and other debris from the printhead to help avoid damage and help ensure the quality of printed cards, and they clean debris and dust from hard-to-reach internal printer areas. The saturated tip reaches into the tight spots around the print path that a cleaning card simply cannot touch.
507377-001 fits the CD820, CE840, CE870, CE875 and CR500. Use a swab as part of your normal cleaning interval alongside the cleaning cards or adhesive cleaning sleeves your printer calls for - the swab handles the printhead and the internal areas, while cards and sleeves handle the card path.
