Overview
IIDaaS YMCKT Ribbon + Cloud Software, 500 Prints
YMCKT full-color ribbon for Entrust Datacard DS series printers, rated for up to 500 single-sided cards — with the Instant ID as a Service cloud software subscription built into the ribbon.
How Instant ID as a Service ribbons work: the ribbon carries the software. Each Instant ID as a Service (IIDaaS) ribbon includes usage-based access to Entrust’s cloud issuance software — order the ribbon, scan the QR code, and issue cards and mobile flashpasses from any browser. No perpetual software license, no on-premises server: you pay only as you print.
Genuine Entrust supply. Datacard DS series printers verify authentic Entrust ribbons over an encrypted RFID handshake — the printer auto-tunes settings to the ribbon type, tracks remaining prints, and will not print with third-party or SD/CD-series supplies.
These ribbons also power the Entrust Datacard (formerly Sigma) DS2C — a dual-sided Datacard DS series printer offered at a lower hardware price that runs exclusively on Instant ID as a Service ribbons.
