Description
The Entrust 525900-009 monochrome print ribbon kit is designed for Entrust Sigma DS1, DS2, and DS3 direct-to-card printers. Its scratch-off gray ribbon prints a single-color scratch-off gray layer. Entrust's designation for this formulation is Scratch-Off Gray.
One roll yields up to 1,500 prints. Ribbon Saver can increase actual monochrome output by up to three times when a card design uses only part of the ribbon area, but the result depends on printed coverage. Use the 1,500-print rating for supply planning rather than treating the maximum Ribbon Saver result as guaranteed.
Sigma printers use RFID to identify compatible genuine Entrust supplies and apply ribbon-specific settings. Each print ribbon kit includes one ribbon, one isopropanol cleaning card, and one adhesive cleaning roller so routine cleaning supplies can be replaced with each ribbon change.
