Retransfer printing, or "reverse transfer," produces visually stunning, saturated color with true edge-to-edge coverage. Because the printhead never touches the card surface—instead printing onto a clear film that is fused to the card—the HDP6600 is ideal for printing on technology cards with embedded chips or uneven surfaces. The 600 dpi resolution allows for crisp, tiny text and high-complexity barcodes that standard 300 dpi printers cannot match. This unit is built for durability and includes a standard 100-card input hopper and 200-card output hopper.
