The Magicard E9887 Retransfer Printer Cleaning Kit is a must have for the versatile ID Card Printers and laminators from Magicard. Included in each kit are ten printhead cleaning swabs, ten cleaning tissues for rollers, and ten oversize cleaning cards.
The Magicard E9887 Retransfer Printer Cleaning Kit can greatly expand the life of your card printers and laminators. Regular cleaning with authentic Magicard cleaning supplies removes dust, small debris, and ensures high grade picture quality. For use with Prima 4, Prima 8, Helix, and Ultima.
Want to know how to clean your ID Card Printer? It's simple! It's recommended that you remove the dye ribbons before starting. Check the printer's display and select the cleaning option. Once it powers up, insert the cleaning card into the hopper. Once it finishes, it will exit the printer. Turn the card over to the clean side to run it through again. It is recommended to use both sides of a cleaning card to thoroughly clear the internal components of any dust or debris.
To clean the print head, open the printer and remove the dye ribbons. Gently run the cleaning swab across the length of the printhead to remove any residue. This will keep all images uniformly high quality and lengthen the printer's lifespan.
