Description

PRIMA436 is the retransfer film Magicard made for the Prima 4 and Prima 8. Each roll provides 1,000 prints.

In retransfer printing, the dye film ribbon prints the image in reverse onto the PRIMA436 film first. The printer then heat-transfers that image from the film onto the card surface, bonding it edge-to-edge -- including over chip cutouts and uneven surfaces that direct-to-card printers cannot cover. PRIMA436 is required for every print job on the Prima 4 and Prima 8; it is not an optional accessory.
