About this card
The HID DuoProx II 1336 is a two-technology card. It combines 125 kHz HID Prox for door access with a high-coercivity magnetic stripe for a second system, such as a cafeteria, time clock, or transit gate. The surface is printable PVC, so one badge can carry a photo, the prox credential, and a mag stripe. Each card is programmed to order.
Reach for the DuoProx II when one card needs to do two jobs. The prox side opens doors. The magnetic stripe works with any reader that swipes a card, which many older time and attendance and payment systems still use. You give us the prox format, facility code, and start number for the encoded side. The magnetic stripe is written by your own system after you receive the cards, the same way a hotel programs a room key. If you only need door access, the plain ISOProx II 1386 costs less. Printing on a laminating printer? Use the composite 1536.
