The Evolis Zenius Expert is the networked version of the original Zenius: a compact single-sided ID card printer with sharp, edge-to-edge 300 dpi dye-sublimation printing, USB and 10/100 Ethernet, and support for factory encoding options. It prints up to 150 color or 500 monochrome cards per hour from a 50-card hopper.
Encoding configurations
Use the option menu to choose the factory configuration: no encoding, ISO magnetic stripe (ZN1HB000RS), Evolis Elyctis Smart contact encoder (ZN1H0G00RS), SpringCard Crazy Writer HSP contactless (ZN1H00HSRS), Evolis Elyctis Dual contact and contactless (ZN1H0HLBRS), or OMNIKEY 5122 contact and contactless (ZN1H0OMNRS). Each card can be printed and encoded in a single inline job.
Software included
The Zenius Expert ships with a CardPresso XXS Lite badge design license and Evolis Premium Suite Windows drivers, with a macOS driver available. Note the original Zenius uses the first-generation High Trust ribbon series; it cannot use Zenius 2 ribbons or the Easy4pro range.
Specialist ID is an authorized Evolis dealer. The Zenius carries a 2-year printer and original print head warranty with genuine Evolis High Trust ribbons.
