Description
The HID Seos 510 is a migration card. It carries two chips: 13.56 MHz Seos, which is HID's current credential platform and what Signo and iCLASS SE readers are built around, and 125 kHz HID Prox, which is what most older door readers still are. One card opens both, so you can reissue credentials once and then replace readers at whatever pace the budget allows.
That is the whole point of buying it. If every reader on site is already Seos-capable, the plain Seos 500 does the same job for less. The 510 earns its price during the years when both technologies have to work, and when the last Prox reader is gone your next reissue can drop back to a single-technology card.
You can have both sides programmed, or the Seos side programmed and the 125 kHz side left blank. Choose whichever suits the rollout. To order, give us your card format, your facility or site code, and the starting card number for each technology you want encoded — they are printed on the box your current cards came in, or on your original HID paperwork. Because there are two chips, a card programmed on both sides needs two sets.
