Description
The HID Seos 520 is the widest migration card HID builds. It carries three technologies at once: 13.56 MHz Seos, 13.56 MHz iCLASS, and 125 kHz HID Prox. One credential opens legacy Prox doors, existing iCLASS doors, and new Seos-capable readers such as HID Signo, which means a site running three generations of hardware can reissue once and stop worrying about which door a badge will work on.
It is the most expensive card in the Seos range and it should be. Buy it when you genuinely have all three reader populations live at the same time — typically a large campus or a multi-site estate that has been acquiring buildings. If you only need to bridge Prox to Seos, the 510 is the cheaper card; if you only need iCLASS to Seos, the 522 is.
The iCLASS side comes with 2k bits or 32k bits of memory, and the 32k version splits into two allocations: 16k/2 + 16k/1, or 16k/16 + 16k/1. Both cost the same. To order, give us the card format, facility or site code and starting card number for each technology you want encoded — they are printed on the box your current cards came in, or on your original HID paperwork. A card programmed on all three sides needs three sets.
