Description
The HID Seos 522 is the card for sites already on iCLASS that are moving to Seos. It carries both 13.56 MHz technologies in one body: iCLASS, which your existing readers know, and Seos, which HID Signo and iCLASS SE readers are built around. Reissue badges once and then replace readers at whatever pace suits you, without a period where half the doors reject half the staff.
Two things about this card are easy to miss and expensive to discover late. It cannot be slot punched — HID's order form offers no slot punch at all, so it has to be carried in a holder rather than on a lanyard clip. And HID does not recommend direct-to-card printing on it; use an HDP retransfer printer for a clean result. If a slot punch is essential, the Seos 500 in 8K can be punched, though it has no iCLASS side.
The iCLASS side comes with 2k bits or 32k bits, and the 32k splits into 16k/2 + 16k/1 or 16k/16 + 16k/1 at the same price. To order, give us the card format, facility or site code and starting card number for each technology you want encoded — they are printed on the box your current cards came in, or on your original HID paperwork.
