Description
The HID Seos 526 is the key-ring version of the Seos credential. Same 8K byte Seos chip and same Secure Identity Object as the Seos 500 card, in a moulded black ABS body with a grey TPE insert, ultrasonically welded and rated IP67 — sealed against dust and temporary immersion. It is the credential for people who will not carry a badge: maintenance staff, drivers, contractors, anyone whose hands are already full.
One compatibility limit you must check before ordering. HID states that this fob is not compatible with the multiCLASS SE reader family. It is designed for HID Signo and for single-technology iCLASS SE and iCLASS SE Express readers. If your doors run multiCLASS SE, this fob will not work on them and the Seos card is the credential to buy instead. HID also requires the part number to be activated against your first order, which adds one to two days the first time you buy.
The fob runs a wider temperature range than the cards do, -13 to 185 °F, so it copes with vehicles and outdoor plant that a PVC card would not. To order, give us your card format, your facility or site code, and the starting number — they are printed on the box your current credentials came in, or on your original HID paperwork.
