HID iCLASS SE Key II 3254PNNMN 32k Contactless Smart Keyfob (Programmed)

The HID iCLASS SE Key II 3254 is the 32k iCLASS SE credential for people who will not wear a badge. It is about the size of a car key, moulded from high-impact ABS with a blue TPE insert, ultrasonically welded shut, and it carries the same 13.56 MHz iCLASS SE chip and 32k bits (4k bytes) of read/write memory, partitioned 16k/16 + 16k/1, the same chip family as the iCLASS SE 3004 card. For door access alone the 2k iCLASS SE Key II 3250 does the same job for less.

Fobs suit maintenance and facilities staff, drivers, out-of-hours access, and anyone whose hands are full when they reach the door. They live on a key ring rather than a lanyard, which means they get used — the credential nobody remembers to bring is the one that generates support calls. The sealed housing is rated from -50 to 160 °F and takes the kind of treatment a printed card does not survive.

What it will not do is identify anyone. There is no photo, no name and no printing surface. If the credential also has to serve as a visual ID badge, you need a printable card instead. For large deployments HID can mould your logo into the rubber insert through HID Secure Identity Services; ask us and we will quote it.

The fob has a moulded key ring hole. A key ring is not included — HID sells one separately as part 57-0001-02.

SIO is the encoding. It wraps the credential number in its own layer of encryption and authentication, binding the fob to the platform rather than to a single reader technology. Fobs programmed this way work on iCLASS SE and HID Signo readers. SE credentials are not available with the legacy iCLASS access control application — for that, the iCLASS Key II 2050 is the fob that spans both.

To order programmed fobs, give us three things: your card format, your facility or site code, and the starting card number. They are printed on the box your current credentials came in, or on your original HID paperwork. We encode every fob in the run in sequence from your start number.
